In the frame of of the project “Lichen Conservation and Education Initiative in Armenia”, seminars in the Dilijan Central School and 6th secondary schools has been carried out on epiphytic lichen diversity and conservation in Armenia.

During the seminars, schoolchildren participated in the contests and winners received various prizes. After seminars, participants went out and explored lichens in nature.

The seminars have been implemented in the framework of the project “Lichen Conservation and Education Initiative in Armenia”, supported by the Rufford Foundation.
